Which devices are supported?

LatentSnap Photos is built for iPhone on a recent version of iOS. Exact requirements will be listed on the App Store at launch. A desktop version is in development.

Does it work with iCloud Photos?

Yes. It works with your existing photo library, including photos stored in iCloud. If a full-resolution original isn't on your device yet, iOS downloads it from your iCloud when needed.

Will it change or delete my photos without asking?

No. You're always in control. Deleting duplicates and applying tags are actions you confirm. The app works alongside Apple Photos and doesn't move your library somewhere else.

How does tagging work?

The app suggests tags using on-device machine learning, and you confirm or edit them. By default your tags are saved as albums in Apple Photos, so they sync via iCloud across your devices and you can filter and combine them to find photos. Add a "Tag:" prefix to keep them separate from your existing albums, or keep tags on-device only in tag-only mode.

Is my data private?

Completely. Everything runs on your device; nothing is uploaded. See our privacy policy for details.
